Training is still available
Throughout the summer farming businesses and local companies took the opportunity to train staff, mainly on single business courses. Training included ATV, forklift, pesticides training & assessments & ride on mowers. A First Aid course was run for 4 staff from one contractor at BMR. 6 courses ran for Pre-Apprentices.
A full autumn/winter training schedule is planned, please see the table for details. This includes tractor driving, chainsaw, pesticides, digger & ATV including Argocat. Instructors are booked who can take other machine training depending on the demand.

In light of Covid restrictions, we will assess each course for risk and be guided by the instructor who has the job of applying the Covid Risk Assessment at the beginning of the course.
