Fire safety in non-domestic premises is covered under The Fire Safety (Scotland) Act 2005 and The Fire Safety (Scotland) Regulations 2006.
All businesses with 5 or more employees must have a written Fire Risk Assessment plan. Smaller businesses must be able to demonstrate that all provisions are in place to ensure safety of life in the event of a fire.
