Half Day Course

This course aims to provide delegates with a thorough understanding of the dangers associated with confined spaces and the precautions required to enter, work and leave a confined space safely.

The course is suitable for anyone who is required to manage or undertake work in a confined space.

This course is designed to enable delegates to acquire the knowledge and skills required to understand working in confined spaces.

Covering:

·      The Confined Spaces Regulations 1997 Approved Code of Practice

·      Identification of confined spaces and their control

·      Hazardous atmospheres and gas monitoring equipment

·      Risk assessment, safe systems of work and confined space entry permit-to-work control measures

·      Personal protection equipment

·      Basic rescue procedures

Any delegates with special needs should make these to the company prior to attending training in order to allow time for the necessary arrangements to be put in place.
