The Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999 require every employer and self-employed person to make a suitable and sufficient assessment of health and safety risks.

This course provides delegates with knowledge and understanding of the risk assessment process and the skills required to undertake a suitable and sufficient risk assessment.

This risk assessment training course is aimed at personnel who have been given the task of carrying out and communicating risk assessments including managers, supervisors and business owners.

This course involves both practical and theoretical sessions. It will focus on:

·      Overview of legislation

·      Accident causation, type and cost

·      Identifying hazards

·      Principles of risk assessment

·      Methods of recording risk assessment

·      Removing or controlling risks

·      Work place application

Any delegates with special needs should make these to the company prior to attending training in order to allow time for the necessary arrangements to be put in place.
