First Aid at Work Requalification (Blended Learning)

We are pleased to offer the First Aid at Work Requalification (Blended Learning) course, designed for those whose existing First Aid at Work certificates are due for renewal. This blended option provides flexibility while maintaining the same high standard of practical first aid training.

Course Structure

The course is delivered in two parts:

Part 1 – Online Learning (6 hours)

Completed at your own pace and convenience prior to classroom attendance. Covers essential first aid theory and knowledge checks through interactive modules. Must be completed in full before attending the face-to-face session.

Part 2 – Classroom Training (6 hours)

A practical, hands-on session. Focuses on applying first aid skills in realistic scenarios. Includes demonstrations, group exercises, and practical assessments.

Course Content

The re-qualification course refreshes and updates key areas including:

Responsibilities of a first aider and incident management
Assessing and managing an unconscious casualty (including CPR and AED use)
Treatment of wounds, bleeding, burns, and fractures
Recognition and management of common medical conditions (e.g., shock, asthma, seizures, anaphylaxis, heart attack, stroke)
Record keeping and reporting procedures

Certification

Upon successful completion of both parts and the required assessments, delegates will receive a First Aid at Work Certificate, valid for three years and fully compliant with the Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981.

Please note that proof of a valid (in-date or within one month of expiry) First Aid at Work certificate is required to enrol on this requalification course.
