Health & Safety Awareness in Agriculture (including Wildfire Danger Assessment)

The course will identify the hazards and controls within the agricultural working environment and will offer practical advice that will help to reduce injuries and ill health to employers, employees and the self-employed.

It covers the management of health and safety for those responsible for running a farming business with topics including risk assessment, health problems in agriculture, handling livestock and child and public safety.

The course will also look at Wildfire Danger Assessment within agriculture and offer advice on equipment, fire suppression including backburning, natural and manmade firebreaks etc.
