Crime prevention event to take place in the Borders

The Scottish Borders Partnership against Rural Crime have announced a Farm Crime Prevention ‘Walk & Talk’ event to be held at Caverton Mill, Kelso on 29 June.

The Scottish Borders Partnership against Rural Crime have announced a Farm Crime Prevention ‘Walk & Talk’ event to be held at Caverton Mill, Kelso on 29 June.

The event is designed to provide attendees with information and advice on simple solutions which may help deter thieves. This free ‘Walk and Talk’ event is open to all farmers, land owners and land managers and no booking is necessary.

The event will give you the opportunity to speak to representatives from Police Scotland, Scottish Borders Council, Scottish Fire and Rescue Service, NFU Scotland and Scottish Land & Estates for advice on a range of crime prevention and fire safety issues.
